STORY OF DAWN THE AUTHOR

Who is Dawn?

Dawn Leonard is a retired Public Officer after 25 years of dedicated service.  She’s a passionate health and safety professional, business owner, community activist, and youth mentor.  She enjoys writing and reading poems, jingles, and short stories. Her technical articles have been published throughout the Caribbean.  She has also begun writing 2 journals and a children’s series.  She and her husband published a  Marriage Enrichment Tool entitled the Marriage Spa which was published through their business Dawlin Designs.

When not engaged in volunteer work, Dawn loves cooking, public speaking, traveling, and soaking up the sweet serenity of the Caribbean Sea, which she uses as an escape.

Dawn is the mother of 2 adult girls and a youth son. She lives in the beautiful British Virgin Islands with her husband, granddaughter Amelia, and extended family.
 

Turn of Events, while fictional was inspired by actual events in Dawn’s life.
